Kunal is the Founder and CEO of Snapdeal.com.

In February 2010, Kunal along with Rohit Bansal, started Snapdeal with a vision to build a digital commerce ecosystem that creates life-changing experiences for millions of consumers, small businesses, brands and retailers across the country, offering the widest range of products and services. With tens of millions of customers and over 100,000 sellers on its platform, Snapdeal is the shopping destination of choice for users delivering to 5000+ cities and towns across the country. In April’15, Snapdeal acquired FreeCharge to become the largest and fastest growing m-commerce company in India.

Kunal is an engineer from University of Pennsylvania, with a business degree from The Wharton School. He serves on Unilever’s Global Digital Advisory Board and the Board of Governors of The Indian Institute of Corporate Affairs. Kunal has been a recipient of many distinguished awards including the Prime Minister’s Award for Contribution to the Digital Industry, EY Entrepreneur of the Year, AIMA Transformational Business Leader of the Year, among others.  Kunal also featured in the 2014 Fortune Global 40 under 40 list.
